Mission
Cuts and Paste Gallery aims to increase the knowledge of and appreciation for collage and assemblage through the exhibition of works, hosting of workshops and learning events, and the collection of resources to encourage further collage creation. It is primarily concerned with increasing the visibility of collage and assemblage within the Canadian art community and working exclusively with Canadian artists from it's location in Kjipuktuk/Halifax, NS.
Workshop Events
Some days have been reserved for collage workshops and learning events. New topics will be listed regularly and available to register for approx. 2 weeks in advance.
Duration and prices will vary depending on the techniques involved or the materials used.


Resource Center
The resource center is a fully stocked area of the gallery that contains substrates, glues, cutting tools, magazines, various sorts of papers, mark making tools and washi tapes that the public may access to try collage or to create a special something.
Open daily during gallery hours, or by appt. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Passes available for $5 (approx. 3 hour limit per pass)
Yoga
Sunday Salutations, from 10-11am and Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30pm are offered weekly. Class size is limited to 4 participants. Pre-registration is required.
