Rhonda Barrett

Rhonda is an artist who hails from Newfoundland, Canada and currently lives and works in Halifax, NS. She has a background in architectural technology and design which brought her to work in the Canadian Arctic, Ireland and throughout Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. She was a proud member of OhMaya Bellydance in St. John's, NL from 2006-2010, hosting and producing many shows and productions as well as co-operating a small dance studio in 2010. Working as a professional artist since 2014, she currently has her work showing at numerous galleries in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Vancouver, BC. She is also a poet, yet cannot bring herself to share the finished works often.

She started the Canadian Collage Collective (CCC) in 2019 as a way to meet and find other collage artists throughout Canada. It has offered a free directory listing to any artist working in collage and assemblage in an attempt to make it easier to find artists throughout the country. In 2022, Cuts and Paste Gallery was created to house some of these artists and to bring together the various styles of work she found through the CCC. She is the current owner/curator of the Cuts and Paste Gallery.
